CK, I know that a lot of people feel that way about Economics but not me sir- I don't think so! Thank you for commenting all of you!!! I tried my hand at peotry after a very long time!
I think "dimensions lost/comprehension gained" is very specific. In math, you talk about projections, which is losing dimension(s). This brings out some property that might otherwise be missed. Projections wouldn't exist if they didn't allow greater understanding. I'm not good at interpreting poetry, so I do wonder what it's about.

After dabbling in Economics, the final part ought be modified a bit, to read "Dimensions gained, comprehension lost".
